About the Wellbeing Programme

Mindfulness is the word de jour, from personal development programmes to executive training; everyone is embracing this powerful concept. But what is mindfulness and how do we practice it. In this 6-month programme, we will take you through a series of weekly workshops designed to help you to remain more present, more focused and to increase feelings of wellbeing. Based on Teaching Mindfulness: A Practical Guide for Clinicians and Educators, each of these sessions with Dr Selva Pankaj and his team will help you to discover your inner Zen.

The Wellbeing Programme will give you a firm grounding in the theory and philosophy of mindfulness, but most importantly it will help you to develop a range of mindfulness practices that will increase your overall sense of wellbeing, helping you to drive out negative thinking, and enabling you to find a moment for yourself to refresh and recharge.

You will be working with Dr Selva Pankaj and his team to:

  • Learn about the history and philosophy of mindfulness
  • Learn breathing and meditation techniques that will help you to remain present
  • Learn visualisation techniques to support you to become more relaxed
  • Get attention training: a series of exercise that will boost your ability to focus
